1. Classification according to the driving mode
According to different driving methods, dump trucks can be divided into three types: front drive, rear drive and full drive.
(1) Front-drive dump truck: The engine of the front-drive dump truck is located at the front of the car, driving the front wheels, which has better passability and maneuverability, and is suitable for mountainous or muddy roads.
(2) Rear-drive dump truck: The engine of the rear-drive dump truck is located at the rear of the vehicle and drives the rear wheels. It has a large load capacity and high transportation speed, and is suitable for flat roads and urban transportation.

Dump trucks can be divided into three types: mining dump trucks, road dump trucks and construction dump trucks according to different usage occasions.
(1) Mining dump trucks: Mining dump trucks are mainly used in mines and mining sites. They have a large load capacity and good passability, and are suitable for complex road conditions and harsh environments.
(2) Road dump truck: Road dump truck is mainly used for road transportation, with high speed and good maneuverability, suitable for urban transportation and long-distance transportation.
(3) Construction dump trucks: Construction dump trucks are mainly used on construction sites and engineering construction sites. They can transport various construction materials and equipment, and are suitable for flexible operations on construction sites.
